FLEVOLAND BRANDING
This is a branding project I created in 2023. Flevoland is a florist brand specializing in Dutch flowers. The Netherlands is a leading producer of cut flowers, accounting for approximately 60% of the global trade with 1.7 billion flowers grown each year. Dutch breeders are renowned for their expertise and innovation. Flowers have been used as a means of communication since the Victorian era, and Flevoland aims to assist its customers in conveying their messages. Customers can conveniently access information about the language of each flower in the store.

The shop will have a space that has many tubes hanging on the ceiling. Each tube contains one kind of flower. There will be a card connected under the tube, listed the name and language of this flower.
The Dutch have a long-standing affection for flowers. In the 17th century, as flowers had a short lifespan but people desired to admire them indefinitely, they became popular subjects for still life paintings. The Netherlands has produced many talented flower painters, including Van Gogh. As a brand that exclusively imports flowers from the Netherlands, Flevoland believes it is important to honor these remarkable Dutch artists. With this in mind, Flevoland has designed its posters inspired by the flower paintings of the famous Dutch painter, Ambrosius Bosschaert the Elder.
