LIGHT: VAULT OF MEMORIES
In our modern society, lighting transcends mere illumination, delving into realms like recording and communication. My objective was to delve into the capabilities of lighting for recording and communication, ultimately creating a lighting product capable of preserving cherished memories for users, providing companionship during moments of loneliness.
INSPIRATION
Inspired by Olafur Eliasson’s work, I envision the immense potential for human interaction with light and shadow. I've conceived of a lighting product that projects a vibrant spectrum of colors onto walls. Each facet of this light is adorned with pattern that capture treasured moments shared among users and their loved ones. My goal is for this light to become a vault of memories for users, enabling them to interact with these "shadow" memories, revisiting and reliving those cherished experiences.
